Amber Valley Physiotherapy Clinic was set up in 2006 by Susan Buckley.
Susan Buckley Bsc (Hons) MCSP — Senior Physiotherapist
Susan qualified from the University of Salford in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Susan spent 3 years gaining a broad range of experience in the NHS, including treating orthopaedic, respiratory, surgical and neurological conditions, before specialising in the assessment and treatment of musculo-skeletal disorders.
Susan has continued to work part-time in the NHS and in addition to this has been working
as physiotherapist at Derbyshire Sports Injuries Clinic for the past 3½ years.
Susan is experienced in working with sports teams and athletes at the highest levels.
In 2002 she was selected to provide physiotherapy services to elite international athletes
at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester. She has spent 5 years as physiotherapist for Nottingham Forest Football Academy and also worked for Salford Reds Rugby League Club.
Susan has a specific interest in the treatment of sports injuries and rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery.
